Orange County Parent Child Center has supported families across Central Vermont for years. Our Meadowlands Campus in Tunbridge serves families throughout Orange and north Windsor Counties. Now we are raising funds to build a campus in Randolph. Rural Vermont families struggle to find full-day, full-year care they can count on. This campus would add more spaces for children from 6 weeks to 5 years. Ask us for details.
The Woodlands Campus will serve 62 more children, from 6 weeks to 5 years, in a new building on VT-66 in Randolph, close to I-89. It will also help OCPCC reach more families with home visits, playgroups, and parent education. The project needs over $750,000 to furnish the facility, set up the playground, hire teachers, and prepare the center to open. Donations are fully tax deductible.

OCPCC is one of fifteen Vermont Parent Child Centers. It serves 15 towns across Orange County and northern Windsor County: Bethel, Bradford, Brookfield, Chelsea, Corinth, Fairlee, Newbury, Randolph, Rochester, Stockbridge, Thetford, Topsham, Tunbridge, Vershire, and West Fairlee. Services include early childhood education, home visits, parent education, playgroups, and referrals.

In a licensed center, a child's day follows a steady rhythm: arrival and free play, snack, group time, outdoor play, lunch, rest, and afternoon activity. Classrooms are set up in interest areas so children can choose blocks, books, art, or sensory play. Teachers stay with the same group across the day, so children build consistent relationships with adults who know them well.
When care is reliable and full-day, parents can keep a steady work schedule without scrambling for backup. Children get consistent meals, rest, and outdoor time, which shows up at home as calmer evenings and easier bedtimes. A safe, stimulating setting with nurturing caregivers supports how a child's brain develops and affects future learning and lifelong health.
