The room your child would join
You walk into the room your child would join, during an ordinary part of the day. Look at the shelves: the blocks, the books, the art supplies within reach. Step outside and see where the children go.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room, and you meet Lindsey Trombley, our Executive Director. Ask how the day moves from arrival to rest to pickup. Ask how they handle the first weeks when a child is new.
Your questions
Hours, meals, pickups, tuition: ask about all of it. Write your questions down before you come so you do not forget them. If we do not know an answer while you are standing there, we follow up with you.
Before you come
Bring your child if you can. Children settle faster when they have seen the room and met the teacher before the first day. We serve ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and our schedule runs Monday through Friday. A tour works best when your child can look around too.
Come with questions. Ask about hours and pickup times, meals and rest, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how parents hear about the day and what happens when a child is unwell. If you are not sure what to ask, we can walk you through it.
